With such a plethora of protein powders available today, it's hard to figure out which ones to buy. They are made from all sorts of ingredients including whey, soy, egg, casein, hemp and even peas. For added confusion these powders also break down into sub categories, such as concentrates and isolates. The list is extensive!

A weight-lifter will have requirements that are different to someone who is trying to lose weight or reduce body fat.
